90% of peeves are opinions, not rules. Occasionally we’ve gotten some that are kiiiinda rules, like “godmodding”, but even then godmodding is okay in certain situations (like if you have permission). 

Don’t stress out over the opinion of only one of thousands of anonymous people who (odds are), you will never ever meet or interact with.
